Up Dates on Baby Miley

Little Miley is doing AMAZING as you can see in the photo above...
She is putting on weight and coming alive before our eyes.

-THANK YOU -
I wanted to sincerely thank all the mama's who've come forth and donated thus far with donations. Leaning on another mama to take charge of supplying our daughter with breast milk, this has been the one thing that has been keeping our daughter alive and we will always be forever grateful for this! Life is a gift that is so precious and has no price tag! And to think, so many mom's have come forward and have helped keep our daughter on breast milk this far has been truly amazing....

Hi Everyone, this is Miley's Parents! We wanted to personally THANK each and every one of you for your donations! Also, we thank you for reading this article and passing along the word to other's. At only 2.5 weeks old, Miley was at her lowest weight; only 2 lb's & 14.5" long. Then about 3.5 weeks ago, when starting her on breast milk, she weighed only at 3 lbs even. Now after all the mama's who've donated thus far, she's now a healthy 8+ lbs. & 16" long (just 3.5 weeks later). We will never be able to pay back all the mama's who've literally given our daughter life, but we at least want to make sure that everyone and anyone that's heard and responded in some way to our out-cry for help, also hears our "THANKS" from the bottom of our hearts! Our daughter no longer is looking at hospitalization... now she's thriving and looking at living. Before help from breast milk donor's, we weren't sure if our daughter would even be in our life within the next few months... It's nice to know that our daughter will be in our life a few months from now and years to come. For those of you who have a child... Look at your baby... could you ever look at them and honestly picture that if they were ever ill enough to possibly not be in your life after a few months have passed... thoughts that go through your head... should I start packing up her newborn clothes... will she live that long??? Now how far would you go to keep your baby alive, healthy and out of the hospital. If you found a way to make this possible, would you be willing to do whatever it takes to make your child get what they need. This is our very goal. Miley is now thriving and going to be with us... we owe every mom our sincere thanks and appreciation for their donation and kindness! Life is such a precious gift and we are so thankful to the news stations and so many others for helping us get Miley the help she needed.... and the amazing people (( still working to help keep our baby healthy )) Thank you, very much!!! from the bottom of our hearts!

We had a check up today and we wanted to share the good news.  Miley is FINALLY on the charts for her weight!  She's in the 3rd percentile now!  It's not much, but it's on the scale.  She may be on the scale for her weight, but we're still working on her height as she's still not on the charts yet.  Please keep sending your love and milk because it's doing wonders!  Thank you! ~The Palmonka Family~

We just has Miley weighed on our baby scale at home.  She has now reached 13 lbs. 7.5 oz's!  What a MIRACLE Breast Milk has been for our little girl.  I will always be a believer in it because of seeing what progress it's done for our daughter, giving her a good chance at life and hope at being within the same size as other kids her age as some time passes.  We've also been given the "OK" to start Miley on some BeachNut Baby Food.  We've been giving it to her through the Avent Baby Bottles (cereal nipple),  as her Dr. has suggested.  We've seen her intake go from being spoon fed and only being able to eat 1/2 the jar (Stage 1), opposed to putting the baby food in a bottle and being able to eat 3-4 ounces (1 to 2 jars of Stage 1) at one sitting.  We have seen her just go crazy for the baby food now.  She loves it soooo  much that she's even developed a new coo'ing noise letting us know she's hungry for 'food'.  It's just so adorable!  I'm so glad that she's doing well on the transition.  The Dr. told us, as long as she continue's gaining weight at the same rate, or higher with the baby food, we can continue feeding it to her... and that giving it to her now was the right thing to do.  We feel that it was right!  We are so happy she loves it as much as she does.  It's a true blessing to know that she's been able to come 'this far' all from the efforts of mom's all over the US that have come together sacrificing selfLESSly their excess milk.  Miley's also been trying to crawl.  And to make life even easier, Jada (our Autistic toddler) has finally been starting to go pee pee on the potty.  What a BIG step that has been and what a relief it's been on me as mom.  I'm just glad that everything has been falling in place just so well.  It took alot of hard effort in the beginning, but we are so glad that baby Miley has been able to make what her Dr. calls "a remarkable recovery" from the IUGR.  As Miley's parents, we are so proud of her progress!!!  We are still searching for Dairy Free Breast Milk, so if there are any mom's still out there that would like to donate to Miley, we would sure appreciate what you have to donate.  Thank You!
